Recording public meetings: Vista is a public charter school, and Utah law makes every charter school subject to the Open and Public Meetings Act (Utah Code §53G-5-405(5)(a)). Under that Act, any person attending an open meeting may independently record all or part of it, as long as the recording doesn't interfere with the conduct of the meeting (Utah Code §52-4-203(5)).
